Woodley Park: 1-minute walking

The neighborhood features a few iconic sights, including a Marilyn Monroe mural and two spectacular bridges, the Taft and the Duke Ellington. Its biggest attraction, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, which backs up Rock Creek Park, is home to the city’s famed giant pandas.

White House: 2 metro stops, 14 minutes

Plan a visit to the country’s most famous house. The White House, is just a short metro ride away and from the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. Touring the White House requires some advance planning. National Mall: 5 metro stops, 20 minutes

Visit the National Mall and Memorial Parks to see popular landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian Museums. The National Mall - the great swath of green in the middle of our capital city and stretching from the foot of the United States Capitol to the Potomac River - is the premiere civic and symbolic space in our nation. U.S. Capitol: 6 metro stops, 25 minutes
